"2008: portrait of a postcode" is a photographic series documenting the current state of the Chippendale street face before it disappears. The show will exhibit a series of limited edition photographic prints and will launch Lucia Fischer’s self published artist book "2008: portrait of a postcode" which documents the current threat of overdevelopment in the small Sydney suburb of Chippendale.
The exhibition will be presented in the unique art space of aMBUSH Gallery in the warehouse district of Waterloo - 4A James Street. The show will open on October 24, 2008 from 6pm to 9pm. The exhibition will then run from October 25 to November 7, 2008, Wednesdays to Saturdays 12pm to 5pm. Via aMBUSH.
