Thanks Dan! How's the bike project coming along? I'll keep an eye on that link... BTW, are you on a Mac or PC?

I'm on PC.

The bike project is stagnant, had some big changes here recently to throw some spanners in the works. Just moved it to the workshop the other day but need to paint and sell my old merc to make time and space for the Geep.

Currently scouring the bay for a fix fix. Not that another project is what i need now....

Yeah, well, a fix can be a money magnet as much as a moto, maybe on a smaller scale! You can get your fix with a minimum expenditure and still have a lot of fun, too... Check out Andy from Fyxomatosis' 'Mongrel Mob' a few posts back... Decent road frame and a track wheelset... Easy! Unless of course you want to go for a REAL track frame like the Merckx on Boutique Cycles Dot Com at the moment... SWEET!

The Pure Soma Rush was the one that grabbed my attention on BC, but thats most likely down to colour (great tip on that site too btw but i refrain from commenting on everything!)

on the B/W front, have you seen this: http://arkitipintel.com/2009/05/08/intersection-bike-project-step-2/

looking to build up something for sub $500. Looking at a mostly complete Hillbrick shortly, I've also got access to a WWII Malvern Star but I'm looking for a bike, not a project right now.

Yeah that sounds like a good deal, the H'brick. Make it yours, custom spray job maybe?

I've seen the Intersection bike around, pretty good looking bike. Love the machining on the hubs.

Ariel Books no longer stocks Intersection! Arrrggh!
