Here's a small glimpse into the black and red inked world of Yann, a tattooist residing in Quebec, who has a style which I deeply appreciate and recommend for anyone considering getting ink work. Basically, a well defined line and bold colours won't fade and bleed so much over time and still look decent when (and if) you're 70 years old.
