Last night, and the night before

There's no better way of finishing of a helluva week by hanging out with good friends and chugging down a couple of coldies. Even better when there's bikes involved, and the cream on top is a good location. Last night I dropped by City Bike Depot, took shelter from the rain and watched while Joe tore down a shitty old 10 speed Clamont (that a customer 'donated') and fixed it up real good. New bars, chain, chestnut Velocity wheelset, celeste track grips, Contis and black and white straps. The ultimate Manly beach and pub fixie. Joe had the good sense to leave the kickstand on. He also had the good sense to leave off the fluro orange fade-to-black bar tape...
