My mate Dan from Flailings spotted this Volvo 240GL while the Tour Down Under cruised around his hometown, complete with Merckx plates. Seeing as how I grew up in this model it holds a particular sentimentality. And seeing it decked out as a support vehicle is just perfect, what a great, nerdy car. Thanks Dan!
Thanks mate. It's hard to beat the nerdy cool of a Volvo wagon! The city was swarming with bikes for that week, now many of the carbon steeds are hung likely relegated to the spare room again. We had strength in numbers for a little while at least.
