BMW Magazine 'Hot wheels, wicked heels'

Picked up a copy of the 4/2008 BMW Magazine whilst I was back in Orange, and was impressed at the fashion shoot that was contained within its pages, entitled 'Hot wheels, wicked heels', a showcase of, well, after market rims and shoes, including some beautiful iridescent patent leather shoes by Louis Vuitton. Pictured above are ankle strap sandals with plexiglass heels by Salvatore Ferragamo, with some BMW Double Spoke 167m's. Apparently.

Nice pins. I would assume you know about Intersection magazine, if not check it out. I suspect it'd be right up your alley, there is a local edition now too.

Oh yeah, the K100: go for it! It'd definitely be an interesting basis for a fighter.

Hey Dan, yes, I know Intersection, Hell For Leather dude Wes SIlers original baby. I have issues 10-26, and I was just thinking tonight how I haven't heard from from bookshop letting me know the latest issue has arrived... My favourite 'zine.

Streetfighters I can take or leave but the K would be an interesting resto project for a mild interstate tourer, which, after months of ruminating, I have decided is my most ideal bike...

The Intersection connection was the first sign to me that HFL would turn out to be an interesting venture. Yorgo's posts on Arkitip are generally worth checking too.

If it's a low dollar tourer you're after it seems hard to go wrong with the 100, I know guys who swear by their 75s and 100s.

Yeah, the K is the BMW Ugly Duckling... I would kill for a new k1200 so this is also a nice introduction... Have been checking out all the forums and Owners Groups, and it's easy to see how they've become a cult item... Do you own a moto?

Hi Mr Anonymous, I'm not sure if you can download the issue. If you like, I'll have a look on my bookcase and see if I still have it, maybe I could post it over to you?
