Hey Dan! Now that you mention it, it sounds familiar... I can only remember the 'Riders ready? Watch the lights! Beep beep beep BANG!!!
I had to hit the search button after posting to be sure, but that's how we rolled down this neck of the woods.
Was worst when the BANG didn't come: 8 riders tumbling over the gate and down the hill!
I really need to dig through some old photos and get the scanner out
