My father found this copy of 'Hints and Tips for Motorcyclists' (Third Edition) in an abandoned shed in Tasmania and passed it onto his motorcycle-obsessed son. An inscription inside the front cover dates it from 26/1/13. There were a few ads ripped out from local newspapers in the back also. The content would be extremely interesting to a vintage enthusiast, there are over 360 tips but no page numbers. A linen-bound hardcover book, published by Iliffe & Sons Ltd, London and Coventry.

I too have a copy of "Hints & Tips for Motorcyclists", but although I Guessed that it was pre-world war one I could not find the date of publication. Thanks to your comments I now know that it is probably 1912.
