Lord, let me die with a hammer in my hand

I'm reading 'The Answer is Never – A Skateboarder's History of The World' by Jocko Weyland at the moment, so I was especially excited when I came across this Flickr set of Txrelichunter. He used to ride for the Pepsi team in the 70's and this set is a treasure trove of memories and roots material! These images may seem lame by today's skating standards but these were the early evolutionary days of the culture. Moreso, they herald an era when life was a lot more straightforward: Get radical! A Time To Get!

Isn't that book such a great read?

I read it a few years back and it just made me feel inspired as they built the foundations of their culture by themselves, really cool.
