Stumbled across these guy's flickr page while looking for the perfect motorcycle (for 002). Check out the whole album here, and the blog here.

Flip mode

Had a test ride on these two today, F800GS and R1200R. Loved both. Practicality won out in favour of the GS, and also being able to put the foot down Sideburn style around corners... So good! Whereas the R said 'don't drop the foot, just lean further down and ride it out' which was exciting as well. What I don't like about the GS (and I KNEW this would happen) is that on one day on my street at work I saw TWO F800GS on one block. If I went the GS option I would go the grey option because everyone wants the Tonka toy version and then I would be looking at some custom paint because I don't want a bike everyone else has. Still, the F was so much fun. 1st gear never felt so good. The torque curve is phenomenal.

Maybe I should just buy another Baronness...

Baronness at Lindfield

Must've been fairly early on in the peace if I'm still in that jacket. Good piece of hide, that one.

BMW f650 colorways

Came pretty close to ending up with the Gang Green color when I was lining up The Baronness... I really gotta learn to let go.

BMW f650 again!

After my model BMW changed the indicators from being housed inside the fairing to these stalk-style flashers. All went downhill from there.
