Don't know why, but I'm such a sucka for waxed cotton. Maybe it's the smell, maybe it's the functionality, but what really gets me going is seeing such a classic material being reinterpreted in a modern way. Needless to say, I'm all over the R.E.Load waxed cotton backpacks, even though they look too small for any serious cartage. More shots on the R.E.Load flickr stream.

yeah waxed cotton, great stuff. lasts for decades too.
I'm really digging the old external frame canvas backpacks as well, thinking of building one for summer, they're surprisingly good at preventing sweaty backs.

I love the motorbike stuff as well, i'm building a honda cb350 cafe racer and a little z200 kawasaki flat track influenced bike.
