Wrenchmonkees SR 500

File this under: Inspiration. Need to touch up some paint chips on my BMW F800GS, I'm thinking something like this or a bit Carby-esque...

When I know I want you, and baby you want me

Long ago way down in the jungle, someone got an inspiration for a tune

This is Cool. My most gorgeous friend Meg (of Candy Cranks fame) and her incredible Primate built frame has made it to The Cool Hunter in an impressive stable of coolness examples. And with good reason too, her bike is impeccably built. From the custom painted Chub hubs and matching B-43 / Aerospoke wheelset to the hand made frame and personalised components. And getting featured with one of my all-time favourite motorcycles, the 1934 BMW R7. Check out more pix of the frame in the Candy Cranks shop...

Well, my kind's your kind, I’ll stay the same

How we roll in Cronulla. Lots of beach cruisers, steel MTBs with surfboard racks on the back, BMXs and even a couple of fixies rolling around. Not to mention the packs of old skool skaters... I'm in seventh heaven!

No corral will ever hold the silver palomino

Check out these great team shots from the 1988 Tour of Britain over on Spinwell... Awesome! Is that a BMW logo on the Team Raleigh shirt? Now that's a sponsorship I'd like to see revisited!

Mellow as the month of May

I have a bit of a soft spot for the graphic quality of the Jagermeister BMWs, a racing sponsorship that has existed across many models and racing classes. Love the bold black and white gothic type against the Jager orange, and the classic stag's head logo provide a classic contrast.

Welcome back!!!

2's back. Just been off riding my motorcycle around the top of Australia with my good mate Chris from BIKEexif. 2,500 kilometers in 6 days, and now it's time to get down and get into 2010. Hope you all had a fun and safe NY!

Now just need to get the skatie on there somehow...

Spotted over on ADVrider. Not mine but I've been wondering how to get the Lady Cop on there! Now just a rack for the plank on one side and the surfboard on the other and I'm done.

All you moto readers, I've been channelling all motorbike related posts to my other blog, Diary of a Grey Ghost. Update your bookmarks! And thanks for reading! 002.

New addition to the family

Next to a K100, what might've been... The K has 217,000 ks on the clock, still going strong. Word.

I have set up a new blog specifically for my adventures and photography with her, Diary of a Grey Ghost, because I don't want to inundate DoubleOhTwo with the thousands of images which are imminent... Check it out, I will continue with the customising over the next few days.
