Cannonball Run MAPPED!
Thanks to Andy, harsh reality is setting in. The Cannonball Run's wick has been lit, and all I get for encouragement is from Borry Gartrell, "That's piss-easy, My dad rode from Brisbane to Sydney to enlist in the war (the first one) 'cos they wouldn't take him in Brisbane but 'they'll take anyone in Sydney!'" Would've been dirt roads back then, and Malvern Stars were made out of gas pipe...
HAPPY NEW YEAR FYXOMATOSIS!!!

Skatin' Life Issue 2_1
Paddy gave this to me at the sydbma Christmas Party at Bronte Beach on Saturday. Skatin' Life Issue 2. I bought this issue when it first came out, so it was a trip leafing through it again. Only had time to scan the cover before jumping on the train back home, but more spreads on the way. Thanks Paddy!

The Sandman 'The Dream Hunters'
So I dropped into both of Sydney's comic shops today. Killing time before I met up with an old mate. At Kings Comics, I discover Neil Gaiman is doing another Sandman, 'The Dream Hunters'. Covers by Yuko Shimizu and P. Craig Russell, third issue drops 01.07.09, but I don't know whether that means January or July. Hopefully January. A three issue mini, they only have issue two, sold out of issue one. So, as one does when travelling by bicycle and being governed by gravity, it was downhill to Comic Kingdom. They have issue one. Also discover another Gaiman title, 1602, Marvel this time, not Vertigo. Am trying to track down the trade paperback for that one!
Slash Repairs
Amongst other things, Slash Repairs. Keep an eye on this 'cos it's gonna boom into West Melburn's coolest shop.

PEDAL ID / Hobbystock
Pretty much the raddest thing I've seen all week. Used to think those PEDAL ID models were pretty naff 'till I saw these. Via Milano Fixed!

Wooden handlebars
Don't want to hear any opinions on snappage ability, as far as woodwork goes, these are amazing and I would build up a classy ride to stick them on. Check 'em out here and here's the site: woodhandlebar.com
