Girls will be boys and boys will be girls, it's a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world
Good morning! This is what we're having to put up with down under today, cloudless skies and crystal surf. In Sydney, anyway. Actually feel like I'm breaking the law being at work... Thanks Aquabumps!

How you find 'em
Hangin' out with my friend Sara on Sunday down at Bondi and we dropped by one of her mate's houses and in the foyer was this gorgeous Ricardo townie, in excellent condition. Apart from being all-steel (real) and living by the beach – thus being exposed to the corrosive damage posed by the salty air. Paint immaculate. Decals not-so-bad... All original, however, rack and stand intact! Stock white cable housing?
I've a soft spot for Ricardos, owned a couple in my time, albeit one model, an Elite. But I can vouch for their sturdy, South Australian heritage, constructed from quality gas pipe tubing, and the logo on this townie especially gets me, the bird (which is a cross between a magpie and a black swan?) doing yoga on his perch. Love it. Owner won't sell. Although I hope he upgrades his lock. Undoing those combination locks was a trick learnt in primary school where I came from. A skill only to be used in emergencies, nowadays...

There's so much left to know, and I'm on the road to find out
My little mate Alpha struttin' in front of our wheels. Don't know why he bothers with the helmet, that 'fro will bounce off any surface from any height! He's getting his skids down with that coaster brake of his. RAD!
When you told me every word you said came from voices talking in your head
Down at Bondi last night having dinner with my friend Sara and spotted this Coppi having dinner at a cute little bar called The Shop. If you're the owner, message me, I wanna holla 'bro, nice ride!!!'

Mahamaya Fixpress

How awesome is this??? Mahamaya Fixpress is an Indian restaraunt's bicycle messenger delivery service in Bern. I want to start something like this for Big John's pizza! I've already designed the shirts! Seen whilst browsing Fixed Gear Switzerland!

Swing high, then swing low

It is blowing a gale and pissing down outside, lightning is booming like, directly overhead, and so while I am happy right where I am, I'd kinda feel like YEAH! if I was hanging out with the Aquabumps crew in Fiji! Make sure you sign up for the daily email because it's inspiring to get Uge's fantastic photography of his travels and shots of the surf and surfers at Bondi every day. Thanks Uge! Ya bastard!

An afternoon at The Crab Shack... The Cab!!!

Skived off work this arvo to bust down to the Crab Shack skate shop at Bondi this arvo 'cos The Cab is in town for Bowlarama at the Bondi Bowl, 30 G up for grabs, took my street issue down to get signed by THE MAN! Thanks Lucy for sorting it!

Steve signed it with a quote from Hebrews 12:2, 'Jesus, he is the author and finisher of our faith' which, incidentally is from the patch from Steve's club, Cross Members and I swear, it was liked having your old deck signed by a Saint. He really is the most laid back guy, surrounded by grommets and just hangin' there like the Godfather.

Stairway to Heaven, out the back. Started to develop a taste for Hahn Super Dry which is really sad. But it was either that or Mountain Dew, which all the groms were drinking. I was wondering who these Yank kids were that were hangin' out with their moms and dads, then Steve turned up and they all went inside and behind the counter and started signing autographs so I guess they were some fancy pros, I dunno, check the playlist, I didn't recognise them...

Good old Speed Skins...

Good old Roskopp...
Good old Jeff Grosso...
Good old Jeff Kendall...
SALBA... YEAH!!!

The Beauty of Italian Women

If you're in Sydney this week, check this out at Blank Space Gallery on Crown Street, Surry Hills. I got told to move along, but that could've been because it was either invite only, or the Who Dares Wins patch on my bag... Via Uge!
